At first, you pay NOTHING!
Only when you have voted on and accepted the improved wages and benefits of your first UAW contract, will you begin paying dues. In the UAW, the members set and control the dues. Since 1967, UAW members pay dues equal to two hours straight time pay per month (or 1.15% of salary).
By linking dues to earnings in this way, UAW members enjoy an $87 return for every $1 of dues. Try to find a better investment in your future than that!
